Entrepreneurs and investors alike are all-too-familiar with a typical elevator pitch. We think New Mexico is known more for its elevations than its elevators. ABQid is once again teaming up with Taos Ski Valley to bring New Mexico’s entrepreneurial community together for a special event. And no, there are no elevators involved. Not the usual kind, anyway. Ski Lift Pitch brings some of our country's most promising startups and top-level investors to New Mexico. During the event, selected startups will give one-on-one pitches to multiple investors as they ride the ski lift together to altitudes over 9,300 feet. Judges will then select a small number of these entrepreneurs to pitch to another group of prestigious investors after lunch. Following the pitches, startup entrepreneurs, judges, investors, community members, and media will be able to ski and enjoy snacks as the investor deliberate which entrepreneur will take home the $10,000 grand prize! Tickets to the event include attendance at the full day of events on Thursday, February 21st, including breakfast, lunch and snacks, and networking opportunities with startups, investors and other members of the entrepreneurial community. We also encourage you to bring you skis and/or snowboard!
