The Texas chapters of CFMA are jointly planning the 2021 CFMA Lone Star Conference, which will be held September 20-21, at the Stephen F. Austin Royal Sonesta Hotel in Austin, TX. We have planned a great agenda with both national and local speakers.   We will have a new app for this conference.  You will use the email dress submitted for registration to login to the app. More details will be sent prior to the conference.  To register, click the TICKETS button at the bottom of the page Our Response to COVID-19We are excited to continue the tradition of the Lone Star Conference, even and especially in light of recent events.  After deciding to continue with plans to hold the conference this year, we’ve worked hard to ensure the well-being of our fellow CFMA members.  Following are a few of our efforts: The choice of the historic Stephen F. Austin hotel was fortuitous.  The hotel has accommodations for only one conference of our size at a time, meaning that the staff will be focused on the safety and comfort of our conference and attendees.  Sonesta has published their Stay Safe with Sonesta pledge.  You can see those standards here:  https://www.sonesta.com/staysafeThe Stephen F. Austin Royal Sonesta Hotel has revised seating charts to allow for recommended social distancing.  We will only have one education track to reduce relocating and allow for proper cleaningWe will follow all of the state and city guidelines to protect our participants. Conference Refund and Cancellation PolicyThe LSC Cancellation and Refund Policy will be as follows to assure consistency and is applicable to the 2021 annual Lone Star Conference.·       Conference registration canceled by email on or before July 31, 2021 is 100% refundable.·       Registrants canceling by email between August 1-31, 2021 will receive a 50% refund. ·       Your registration may be transferred to another individual up until two days before the conference.·       Requests will only be considered valid if sent by email to lonestar@cfma.org·       In the event the LSC Committee must cancel the conference due to unforeseen circumstances, LSC will refund the cost of registration. However, LSC does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses; to include, charges made for travel and lodging. CFMA is offering a complimentary membership to non-members who register for and complete the special application at the Lone Star Conference. This complimentary membership will be effective after the conference through March 31, 2022.
