What is Barre? Barre (pronounced bar) is a full-body, muscle sculpting practice that fuses elements of pilates and ballet.  It incorporates your own body weight and light hand weights alongside a ballet barre that is designed to lengthen, strengthen, sculpt and tone your body using small movements and isometric contractions to overload the muscle. Be prepared to shake, that means your body is creating mass without the bulk.  Barre is not a dance class and you don't have to have dancing experience to attend.
