Here's your chance to design your own hanging basket! You bring your artistic eye. We'll provide the container, the soil, and a selection of plugs (i.e. baby plants). Then we'll grow them in our heated greenhouses until you're ready to put them outside.
FAQ
- I want to make more than one. Do I need to buy two tickets? Nope! Add a ticket to your cart for each person that will be attending. After you add your tickets to your cart, another screen will come up where you can add on extra baskets.
- I want to bring a friend, can we buy one ticket and work on the same basket? Unfortunately, because of space constraints, each attendee must have a ticket.
- I don't want to enter my credit card online. Can I register by phone or at the store? Yep
The Fine Print
- Masks are required. If you don't bring one, we'll provide one to you.
- Not all plants we carry are available for all workshop dates. If there's a particular plant that you want, please check with us before you buy your ticket, and we can see if we expect it in.
- Occasionally (pretty rarely), we'll lose a hanging basket or planter due to bugs, disease, improper watering, etc. If that happens, we reserve the right to set aside a similar container for you. If you don't like that one, you're welcome to choose among our available containers in that size.
- We ask that you pick up your container before Memorial Day, but no pick ups during our Mother's Day Open House (May 8-10). Please call and give us at least 24 hours notice so we can get your basket down and do any deadheading or other maintenance it might need. If you're unable to pick up before Memorial Day, we'll charge a small fee ($1/week per container) to cover our costs in maintaining your plants.
