The New Mexico Extension State Master Gardener Conference is held biennially and each biennial is hosted by a different County Master Gardener program. The 2020 NM Master Gardener conference is hosted by the Albuquerque Area Extension Master Gardeners. The conference starts with a celebration dinner on Thurs. June 11th at 5:30 P.M. and on Friday and Sat. we will have Statewide and National speakers on how to grow in gardening. Registration is from 7:30 to 8:30 A.M. on Friday. There will be a continental breakfast, lunch and snacks with the conference. Then at 4:45 there will be a cash bar and appetizers with the Silent Auction. All guests are welcome without limits. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Helvetica">2. <span style="font-family:"Arial Black"">Treematch.com Finding your tree-soulmate </span>/Hubbell House: Are you frustrated with your past tree relationships? During this workshop we will provide hints to help you improve your current treelationship (including Climate ready trees for New Mexico).</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Helvetica"><span style="font-family:"Arial Black"">3. Let's Hop at Los Ranchos Ag-Nature Center</span>: The Village of Los Ranchos has a deep-rooted and vibrant agricultural heritage that is worth experiencing. The tour will be finished with a talk about their recent hop field.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Helvetica"><span style="font-family:"Arial Black"">4. Permaculture in Action</span></span><span style="font-family:Helvetica"> Desert Oasis Teaching Gardens: The Gardens cultivate resilience to climate uncertainty through</span><span style="font-family:Helvetica"> teaching ecological restoration and food production gardening. They implement and evaluate desert adapted agriculture. <br /></span>You will tour the garden while talking about permaculture techniques implemented at the farm.</p>
<b>This will be a dinner celebration of 40 years of master gardener county programs in NM. This will be held at the Bernalillo County Extension Center 1510 Menaul Blvd Ext NW Albuquerque, NM 87107. This starts at 5:30 P.M. on Thursday. If you want to bring a guest with you to the dinner, the cost is $25 .
