Ponderosa’s take on a classic Mexican lager, this beer starts as a Vienna style lager, but then diverges sharply with the use of Southern Cross hops from New Zealand, which provide a natural lime flavor, that we then boost with a small addition of lime peel, for that classic refreshing cold beer with a fresh squeeze taste built right in, no extra steps required! 5.5% ABV, 18 IBU
Take a traditional Belgian style witbier, brewed with unmalted wheat for taste and body, spiced with a gentle addition of coriander, and give it a Ponderosa twist – Blood Orange and lemon peel replace the traditional Valencia sweet and bitter orange peel to give this beer a bright and juicy character, further enhanced by the character of our house Kolsch/wheat beer yeast. 7.0% ABV, 12 IBU
