Canstruction Santa Fe is a local chapter of an international organization that has provided a creative, competitive way to help fight hunger since 1992 by donating over 50 million pounds of food to local foodbanks – all through visually and structurally stunning sculptures made entirely out of canned goods. Canstruction Santa Fe, now celebrating its 5th Anniversary, has donated over 70,000 cans of food, translating to nearly 56,000 meals and over 68,000 pounds of food for those in need throughout Northern New Mexico. Teams and sponsors from both the Santa Fe and Albuquerque areas have made these donations possible. Canstruction Santa Fe is championed by AIA New Mexico and benefits The Food Depot.
