Guitar New Mexico: Corey Johnson

About

Corey holds a Masters of Music in Guitar Performance from the University of New Mexico and is a professor of guitar at Santa Fe Community College and Central New Mexico Community College. Corey has performed in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and all around West Texas. His current focus is to perform original compositions alongside standardized repertoire in hopes of contributing to the tradition of guitar’s rich collection of music. He also performs his original work with the Duke City Guitar Trio. New Mexico in collaboration with the Friends of the Public Library is excited to present a classical guitar series that will feature local guitarists in concert. Don’t miss this free performance!
