This camp is designed for young gamers who have some experience with esports and are ready to take their skills to the next level. Campers will work closely with coaches to improve gameplay, communication, and overall team strategy while experiencing what real esports competition feels like. 🏆 Camp Overview: Week 3 – MOSEF Competitive Mastery 📅 Camp Dates & Hours: Start Date: June 16th End Date: June 19th Camp Hours: 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM Location: Contender Esports O’Fallon 900 Caledonia Drive, O'Fallon, MO 63368 Check-in/Check-out Times: Check-in: 7:45 AM Check-out: 11:30 AM 💥 Camp Description: In Week 3: MOSEF Competitive Mastery, campers will level up their gaming skills with focused, hands-on training in MOSEF’s most popular esports titles. This week is about growth—learning how to think like a competitive player, practice as a team, and push toward personal and group excellence. Topics will include: 🎮 High-Level Game Concepts: Explore gameplay mechanics, tactics, and positioning across several age-appropriate competitive titles. ⚔️ Advanced Strategy & Roles: Dive deeper into roles, responsibilities, and how to adapt during matches. 👥 Team-Based Training: Strong focus on communication, leadership, and collaboration in competitive settings. 🧠 Game IQ Development: Learn how to read the game, make decisions faster, and think like an esports athlete. 📊 Camp Structure: Age Group: 3rd–5th Graders Games Featured: Titles may include Rocket League, Minecraft (competitive mode), and other youth-appropriate MOSEF-supported games. Game selection focuses on skill development and age-appropriate competition. 🧑🏫 Coaching & Training: Campers will receive guidance from skilled coaches who specialize in youth instruction. Lessons will include mechanics, game sense, role responsibilities, and scrimmages. 🏆 Daily Competitions: Campers will compete in structured team matches designed to simulate real competitive play in a fun, supportive atmosphere. 🧳 What Your Child Will Need to Bring: 🖥️ Gaming Equipment – NONE. All equipment is provided on-site. 👚 Personal Items: Comfortable clothing (for both gaming and brief physical activities) Refillable water bottle (stay hydrated!) 📜 Camp Rules & Guidelines: 🤝 Respect & Sportsmanship: All campers are expected to be kind and respectful to teammates, coaches, and other participants. 🎮 Gaming Conduct: Good communication, fairness, and teamwork are essential during all sessions. 📱 Balanced Activity Time: Although esports is the focus, breaks and movement time are built in for balance. 🚫 Behavior Policy: Bullying, cheating, or unsportsmanlike conduct is not allowed. Our priority is learning and fun in a safe environment. 📍 Important Notes for Parents: 🍽️ Snacks & Drinks: Our full concession stand will be open during breaks with snacks and drinks available for purchase. 📲 Daily Parent Updates: You’ll receive a recap of the day’s activities, highlights, and camper achievements. Campers will also be given a notebook to track goals, strategies, team roles, and coach feedback. ⏰ Drop-off & Pick-up Guidelines: Please drop off and pick up your child on time. Campers will only be released to an approved guardian. 🖥️ Device Policy: All gaming equipment is provided. We recommend leaving personal devices at home unless otherwise arranged.
