Want to learn a creative art? Meditative craft? Post-apocalyptic lifeskill? Knitting is your answer! In this 2 hour class you will learn the basics of knitting including pattern reading basics, casting on, basic knit stitch, and casting off, and how to make yarn from a t-shirt. At the end of the class you will have a finished t-shirt yarn pot holder and a set of size 10 knitting needles to take home. Class runs 2 hours. Recommended for ages 8+. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. At least one adult per 4 children under 12. Adult does NOT need to purchase a ticket to supervise child participant(s). Round Two Up-Cycled Craft Parties offers hands-on classes and workshops using eco-friendly, second-hand, and up-cycled materials.
