Steve Foster
Steve is a Director at The Baldwin Group’s construction practice where he is primarily responsible for leading the development and growth of the Surety and Subcontractor Default Insurance Practice in the Southern and Midwestern United States from our Dallas office. With over 25 years in the Surety Industry, Steve has extensive experience in large
construction surety programs with multiple surety carrier partners, complex joint ventures, private equity and employee-owned companies. In addition, Steve’s experience managing large complex construction risks is utilized in
strengthening The Baldwin Group’s existing customer relationships and advancing The Baldwin Group’s surety market partnerships.
Prior to joining The Baldwin Group, Steve spent over 16 years (2005-2021) with Willis Towers Watson’s Construction Practice in Dallas where he led the Texas Surety Practice and 3 years at Marsh (2021-2024) leading the South Central Zone. Prior to joining Willis in 2005, Steve was an Underwriting Manager at Travelers in Houston, Texas (1999-2005) where he managed a diverse book of construction business consisting of ENR Top 250 Contractors and Middle Market Contractors. Steve is very active in the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), the Associated General Contractors (AGC) and National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP).
Steve is a 1994 graduate of The University of Nebraska – Lincoln having earned a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration and Finance. Steve currently resides in Celina, TX with his wife, Katie and their five children, two dogs and two cats.

Kyrah Coker
Kyrah Coker is currently the CFO for National Roofing Partners headquartered in Coppell, TX. National Roofing Partners is a single source commercial roofing company that provides unparalleled service nationwide. She has more than 20 years of progressively responsible finance experience directing companies through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth modes. She has a proven track record of establishing cross functional partnerships with clients, partners and employees alike. Prior to transitioning into Construction Accounting, Kyrah spent almost a decade as Regional Finance Manager in a publicly held Telecom company headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Kyrah holds a B.A. and M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas. While attending the University of Texas at Dallas, she held active leadership/board roles in SPEAK (Students for Political Education and Knowledge) and Phi Theta Kappa Iota Honor Society. Kyrah is currently serving on the multiple committees for the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) Board, the Scholarship Committee with the Dallas Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) chapter, Specialty Trade Committee for Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) National, along with an active member of the Task Force for Roofing Technology Think Tank (RT3) and previous Board member with National Women in Roofing (NWIR). Kyrah’s recent accomplishments include 2021 Top 100 People in Finance and 2022 Construction Financial Professional of the Year.
Outside of work, Kyrah has an adult son who is pursuing a career in acting and a daughter in her Sophomore year of college at University of Texas Dallas. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
