In initial Certifications: April 10th,13th,14th,17th,20th,21st 3pm - 8:30pm Re-Certifications Attend April 10th & 20th. 3pm - 8:30pm Candidates must have a minimum of four years of documented practical experience in the field of installation of plumbing or mechanical systems. The completion of a minimum 32-hour training course conducted by a Medical Gas Systems Instructor certified to ASSE Standard 6050 is also a requisite. Finally, candidates for certification are required to successfully complete a written and a practical examination covering all facets of ASSE Standard 6010, NFPA 99, and NFPA 55 with a minimum score of 77%. A Medical Gas Installer certification candidate is an experienced individual who can demonstrate competence within their scope and will be proficient in the installation of medical gas and vacuum systems covered by the ASSE Series 6000 Standard. Installers encompass anyone who works on or installs piping or components, including Brazers who assemble fabricated metal parts, using soldering iron, torch, or welding machine.
