Tony DeSimone is a CPA, CMA, AI strategist, and educator who helps financial professionals and organizations use artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, strengthen decision-making, and achieve better business results. With more than 30 years of experience, Tony began his career at Deloitte, where he developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. Today, he combines that financial expertise with practical AI applications to help leaders streamline processes, improve productivity, and integrate AI into everyday workflows. As the former Executive Director of the University at Buffalo’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and a longtime adjunct professor, Tony has spent more than 25 years teaching accounting, business strategy, and AI integration. Through his company, You’re the Expert Now, LLC, he leads AI accelerator programs and workshops designed to move professionals beyond simply experimenting with AI and toward using it safely, confidently, and strategically. For construction financial professionals, Tony brings a practical, finance-first perspective to AI, focusing on how emerging tools can support more efficient processes, stronger analysis, better communication, and smarter decision-making.
