Turn their favorite game into a real-world skill! At 918 eSports, our Roblox: Coding & Game Dev Camp transforms passionate players into aspiring game designers. Using Roblox Studio—the exact professional engine used to create every game on the platform—campers will learn the fundamentals of 3D world-building and level design. They will also be introduced to Lua, a real-world programming language, to script interactive elements, spawn points, and custom game rules. From designing epic obstacle courses (Obbys) to programming their own mini-games, campers will build, test, and publish their very own playable game by the end of the week! What They’ll Learn: 3D Game Design: Terrain manipulation, object modeling, and lighting. Lua Coding Basics: Writing real code to create interactive scripts and game logic. Game Mechanics: Designing rules, win conditions, and player movement. Playtesting: Debugging code and refining gameplay based on feedback from their peers.
