Whether you're an aspiring farmer or animal lover seeking an animal immersion experience, this is a unique opportunity to connect with our furry and feathered friends while learning the essentials of farm animal care. Campers will learn how to groom animals by trimming nails, caring for wool and hair, and even occasionally tidying up feathers! Along the way, they’ll wash, card, and spin wool, uncovering its incredible properties and the fascinating science behind this versatile material. Then Campers will learn how to check for, and treat, common illnesses and injuries - from cuts to bumblefoot and spraddle leg - and each species dietary needs including minerals, and supplements. Whether you want to be hands-on or observe, the choice is yours! Experience the joy of bottle-feeding our adorable baby animals, milking goats, herding chickens, and collecting fresh eggs. Along the way, you’ll learn fun facts about each animal’s habits and personalities—whether it’s cuddling snuggly sheep, laughing at silly goats, or exchanging nose rubs with alpacas. This weeklong camp is perfect for animal lovers and aspiring farmers who want to build confidence, deepen their understanding of farm animal care, and create unforgettable connections with our furry and feathered friends! Crafts and projects: • Build Dust Baths, Chicken Swings and Roosts to enrich our chickens' lives. • Milk Alchemy – Make Cheese and Churn Milk into Butter • Wool - Wash, Card, and Spin While Learning the Amazing Science of Wool. Then choose a creative wool project! Choices include a dream catcher, felting an animal, or building a ‘wool box’ for birds to line their nests. Next Steps 1.
