Join Us for Table Topics: Let's Talk About the Future! Ever been told it's taboo to talk about politics or heavy topics with friends and family? We say it’s time to break that rule. Research shows that the more young people talk about the issues that matter to them, the more likely they are to take action and shape the future. That’s why we are thrilled to host Table Topics—an initiative originally created by Apathy is Boring to bring young changemakers together for real, respectful, and productive dialogue. What is Table Topics? It’s an intentional, welcoming space designed to help you feel comfortable sharing your views and listening to others. In an era where it's easy to feel disconnected, this is an opportunity to build community and tackle the BIG questions together. What will we do? We’ll be sitting down to discuss the issues that matter most to youth today. What do you want Canada's future to look like? How do we handle climate and energy? What about the future of work, education, and healthcare? We'll use themed conversation guides to spark engaging discussions, share our lived experiences, and envision the kind of society we want to build. Plus, because food makes every conversation better, there will be a delicious meal to keep our minds and stomachs full!
