
The RVVA invites you to participate in its annual wine competition. This event is open to both commercial and amateur wine makers. All wines must be made from grapes grown in San Diego County. Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals will be awarded to commercial and amateur wines from a double-blind judging. A best in show vineyard award will be awarded to the vineyard producing the most award-winning wines. IMPORTANT DATES: • April 1: Entries go live on the RVVA website. • https://ramonavalleyvineyards.com/rvva-presents-the-2026-ramona-wine-competition/ • April 30: Last day for early bird pricing. ($42/entry) • May 16-17 & May 23-24: Delivery of Entry Wines. (Deadline is May 26) • May 26: Deadline for Entries/Deliveries at RVVA Monthly Meeting. • June 3: Competition Judging – Double blind tasting with our elite panel of judges. • June 17: Awards banquet at the Oaks Grille, San Vincente Golf Resort. WINE ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS: • ENTRY FORMS: Entries must be completed online. (https://ramonavalleyvineyards.com/) • PAYMENT: ($50 per wine entry) submit payment for your entries by credit card, you will then be directed to the entry forms, please complete the required entry selections. o ($42 for early bird entries: Save $8.00 per entry.) • CONFIRMATION: Once the form is completed, you will receive an email with the drop off location. • WINE DROP-OFF: Please deliver your wine(s) on either weekend: May 17 &18 or May 24 &25. Contact winery directly for alternate drop-off times. • BOTTLE REQUIREMENT: 2 bottles are required for each entry. • GRAPE ORIGINATION: 100% of all grapes used to produce wine must be grown in San Diego County. Winners will be announced at the annual awards banquet on June 17, 2026. Join us at the Oaks Grille for a magical night of awards, food, fun, and fellow wine lovers.
