MahoganyBooks is extremely excited to announce that the creator and writer of the artist-owned comic Harriet Tubman: Demon Slayer, David Crownson, will be in-store for a Meet & Greet book signing on July 20th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Crownson's creative comic features Harriet Tubman, reimagined as a ninja warrior, who is fighting against the forces of darkness, including, vampires, werewolves, witches, demons, and racist slaveholders, as she leads enslaved families to freedom. The first two issues of this series exhibits exciting storytelling, tons of action, and incredible art, all of which creates a lively read for school-age readers over the summer to help prevent summer slide.
