Little Green Acres

About

During Animal Paths & Secret Trails week, campers become explorers of the farm, learning to navigate by paying attention to the land and the animals who move through it. Campers wander fields, forests, wetlands, and trails, learning to notice landmarks, terrain changes, and animal pathways. They observe how animals choose routes, shelter, and resting places. Hands-on projects include creating trail maps, symbols, and markers, as well as designing simple caches others can find using clues and wayfinding skills. Exploration includes visits to lesser-known and “secret” parts of the farm, paired with daily animal time. This week is ideal for kids who love exploring, inventing, and discovering hidden places.
