During Farm Animals, Wildlife & Water week, campers explore how water moves through streams, wetlands, ponds, and the farm’s lake, shaping life across the landscape. Campers observe how water flows, pools, erodes, and supports plants, animals, and wildlife. They experiment with movement and force as they build channels, dams, and water diversions using natural materials. Hands-on projects include designing and building small boats to test balance, buoyancy, and movement in flowing water. Daily animal time helps campers notice how animals use water for drinking, cooling, and comfort, and how healthy water systems support farm life. This week is ideal for kids who love building, experimenting, splashing, and discovering how water supports living systems.
