You are invited to join us for New Mexico’s Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Summit, a powerful, free event designed for construction field personnel, apprentices, supervisors, and industry leaders. Date: September 11, 2025 Location: GAAR: 1635 University Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102 Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM This summit will feature two nationally recognized keynote speakers: • Rich Jones – Therapist, clinician, and health care entrepreneur, speaking on stress management and burnout. • Cal Beyer – Senior Director of SAFE Workplaces, a national leader in workplace mental health and suicide prevention. Why this matters: • The construction industry faces a suicide rate four times higher than the national average. • Suicide claims nearly 50,000 lives annually in the U.S., more than automobile accidents and homicides combined. • Each of us has the power to help create a culture of care in the workplace.
