During Print & Pattern Day, campers explore the creative world of printmaking by turning simple shapes and textures into repeating patterns and bold designs. Campers experiment with a variety of printing techniques, including potato stamps, linoleum block printing, and fabric stamping. They learn how patterns are created through repetition, layering, and color while discovering how artists and makers have long used printing to decorate everyday objects. Throughout the day, campers design their own prints and apply them to practical items such as custom tote bags or shirts they can take home. The process encourages creativity, experimentation, and hands-on problem solving as campers test designs, adjust patterns, and see how small changes create entirely new effects. Time on the farm remains part of the day’s rhythm, offering space to gather inspiration from nature, textures, and shapes found across the land. This day camp is ideal for kids who enjoy art, design, crafting, and expressing their creativity through hands-on making.
