Ready to learn how to sew a zipper? Join Mariah’s Eclectic Craft Studio for a hands-on sewing class where you’ll create your own quilted zipper pouch!

This class is designed for beginners who already have some experience using a sewing machine and are ready to expand their skills.

What You’ll Learn:

• Basic fabric quilting techniques
• How to prepare and attach zipper tabs
• How to install a zipper
• How to construct and finish a lined zipper pouch

Experience Required:

Students should already know how to thread their machine, wind a bobbin, and sew a basic straight stitch. This is not a first-time sewing class.

Supply List

Students are responsible for bringing their own supplies.

• Outer fabric — 10” × 8”
• Lining fabric — 10” × 8”
• Fusible fleece
• 7”–9” zipper
• Coordinating thread
• Zipper foot
• Pins or clips
• Iron
• Working sewing machine and basic sewing tools

Optional: Decorative trim, tag, or label.
